Answer

Of course! Our club has members that are from beginner to expert. We welcome all levels of photographers to observe, learn and share.
No, you do not need to be a professional photographer. Our club has members that are from beginner to expert. We welcome all levels of photographers to observe, learn and share.
Joining is simple! When you are attending a meeting, fill out a membership form and pay club dues. The club dues are $35 per person and $10 for each additional family member. Family members include: spouse and children or stepchildren (up to the age of 21). Club dues are prorated accordingly throughout the remainder of the year: starting in March, dues are $18 per person and $5 for each additional family member and starting in June, dues are $10 per person and $3 for each additional family member. All members are required to complete, in full, a membership form. Dues are due at the September meeting or at the next competition.
Yes. If your child is showing a willingness to learn photography, they are welcome to join. Generally children attend with a parent and a family membership is paid for. If your child is old enough to drive, they are welcome to attend the meetings by themselves as long as they are home according to city curfew laws. Our meetings start at 7:00 p.m. except for our competition nights, which begins at 6:45, and are held in October, December, February and April. Our meetings typically last approximately 2 ½ - 3 hours.
No, you do not need to attend all meetings. One of the goals of the LCCC is to have fun at doing what is enjoyable in the spirit of friendly competition and sharing of knowledge. To this end, the club meetings are friendly and open, conducted in a casual atmosphere where everyone is welcome to participate as fully as they like.
