About Competitions
The club competitions are designed to stretch the photographer’s imagination and skills by judging one’s work against other photographers. Experienced and impartial photographers not affiliated with LCCC judge competitions. They are awarded points for composition, technique, and interest. If time allows, the maker may have photographs critiqued in an effort to improve the photographer’s skill.
Awards are based on total points given by the judges.
The following competitions are held four times a season.
- Small Monochrome Prints
- Small Color Prints
- Large Monochrome Prints
- Large Color Prints
- DPI (Digitally Projected Image) Color
- DPI Monochrome
Small prints need to be mounted on a 11 by 14 inch mat board. No exceptions will be made.
Large prints need to be mounted on a 16 by 20 inch mat board. No exceptions will be made. Detailed competition rules can be downloaded from our Official Club Documents section located under the Resources Menu Bar.
